This doll was given to the photographer's wife, Alice Kent Trimpey, when Mrs. Trimpey was four years old. The doll was the subject of Mrs. Trimpey's 1946 book, Becky, My First Love. In accordance with Mrs. Trimpey's wishes, Becky was buried with her in 1949. |
