Photograph
Early Nixon
An unidentified and undated photograph of Richard Nixon probably made early during his career. The photograph was taken by Washington, D.C. reporter Merriman Smith. The image is part of a roll that shows Nixon with a very small group, young children enjoying amusement rides, and a baseball diamond. It is possible that Nixon's daughters are among the children. Although Nixon did signed some autographs, it is unlikely that a political event was taking place. |
