Red Cross Peacetime Activities
The work of the Red Cross in peacetime is less well publicized than its wartime services. Mrs. Thomas J. (Mildred) Pattison, 2024 Kendall Avenue, residential chairman for the 1952 Red Cross fund drive, at right, is pictured receiving a check for the drive from Lucien Schlimgen, 2022 Kendall Avenue, left, and his wife, Angela, center. |
