Monument to the Thirty-Sixth Wisconsin Volunteer Infantry

A monument dedicated to the 36th Wisconsin Volunteer Infantry, Companies B, E, F, and G. These companies were part of the Army of the Potomac, who fought at the Battle of Totopotomoy on June 1, 1864. The inscription of the monument reads: "This monument has been erected by one of their comrades, Charles A. Storke, in memory of the members of Companies B, E, F, and G for the Thirty-sixth Wisconsin Volunteer Infantry who here fought on the first day of June, 1864." |
