Prophecy on page 51 reads, "Esther McGilvra realizing that swimming is one of the few perfect physical exercises has decided to impart her knowledge of the fine art in which she is so well accomplished to the younger generation, in order that they might receive benefits that would enable them to have a perfect physique. She has taken advantage of that beautiful stream Mud Creek in which to expound to her pupils the necessity of being able to swim. For during her career she has saved two cats and a dog from the horrors of the boundless deep." Esther Eloise McGilvra married class mate Louis G. Seely in May 1909. The couple moved to Washington State, but later came back to the Midwest, settling in Minnesota.
