Keep Him Free

War Savings Stamps poster featuring an eagle crushing enemy planes. At the top of the poster is written: "Keep Him Free" and at the bottom: "Buy War Savings Stamps." War Savings Stamps were stamps sold by the U.S. Government during WWI and WWII to help fund participation in the wars. The program was mainly geared toward school-age children. Collections of stamps could be traded in for war bonds in some cases. |
