"Harvey Harvester" in Iowa
| Group of children and adults gathered around a "Harvey Harvester," a talking robot made out of International machine parts, including what appears to the be grill of an International truck. "Harvey Harvester" was a precursor to "Tracto" the "talking robot," which Harvester introduced in 1960. The group may be at the Iowa Dairy Cattle Congress in Waterloo, or possibly the Iowa State Fair. |

Conversation is made possible by the use of an interoffice communication system. He is the 'brain-child' of H.L. Nicholls, credit and collection manager of the Terre Haute, Indiana, branch." |
