Mr. Harriman was governor of New York 1955-1958, U.S. Ambassador to the Soviet Union 1943-1946, U.S. Ambassador to the United Kingdom 1946, and U.S. Secretary of Commerce 1946-1948. The top of the card has a black and white image of Mr. and Mrs. Harriman, seated on a sofa and chair, with their dog. |
