Even Gjeraldsen
Waist-up oval studio portrait of Even Gjeraldsen, a corporal in Company F, 15th Wisconsin Infantry, in uniform holding his musket across his chest. The following information was obtained from the Regimental and Descriptive Rolls, Volume 20: He resided in Manitowoc, Wisconsin. On October 21, 1861, he enlisted in Manitowoc, Wisconsin and was mustered into service in Madison, Wisconsin on December 12, 1861 at the age of 40. He was appointed corporal on January 1, 1862. He was discharged on November 5, 1863, in Nashville, Tennessee for disability. |
