Excerpt from Governor Davidson's investigation into the Wisconsin Medical Institute and the practices of Wallace, Willis, and F.A.H. Reinhardt. The document reproduces a written guarantee of a cure provided by Wallace Reinhardt, which reads "It is hereby agreed between the Wisconsin Medical Institute and John Blank: The Wisconsin Medical Institute guarantees to cure permanently for life Mr. John Blank of Varicocle[sic], sexual weakness, lost manhood, and ailments resulting from self-abuse for $150.00. The Wisconsin Medial Institute agrees to furnish all medicines until a complete cure is effected and Mr. John Blank agrees to use some faithfully according to directions."
