"Picnicking in Mitchell Park provided a pleasant afternoon recently for these senior citizens who participated in the Milwaukee County Park Commission's program for this age group. Chef for the day was Elmer C. Keller, 1960 S. 58th Street, who served barbecued frankfurters to other active members. They are Mrs. Kate Burmeister, left, 4103 S. 1st Pl.; Mrs. Theodore Witte, center, 2041 S. 33rd Street; and Mrs. Roy Langdon, right, 1424 W. Washington Street. All except Mrs. Langdon have contributed recipes to the 'Senior Citizens Cookbook'."
