The photograph originally appeared in "International Trail" magazine Volume 33, Number 4 in an article entitled: "The Circus Parade Comes to Town." Captions for similar photographs read: "Value of colorful cargo which International trucks carried was estimated at $500 thousand. Up to time of this late-June caravan, seen wending down Milwaukee streets, wagons had not left Baraboo for a circus celebration since 1918" and "Sponsor's truck supplied recorded calliope music." |
