German Prisoner of War (center) stationed in Wisconsin Rapids working on the A.E. Bennett and Son Cranberry Marsh. He is spraying the cranberry crop with either an herbicide or pesticide and is wearing a facemask. The POW is wearing a prisoner's uniform with the letters "P.W." on the back of his shirt. Another man at left, without a facemask, handles the hose for the sprayer.
