The photograph was taken for the June 1961 issue of "Harvester World Magazine," Volume 52, Number 6. The caption on a similar photograph reads, "In the Spotlight: a ball bearing race being prepared for catalog pictures. 'Product shots like these,' says Supervisor Claus, 'aren't nearly as glamorous as movie making, but they're the bread and butter of this operation.'" The farm was located 75 miles southwest of Chicago and was used as a location to photograph and film International Harvester equipment for advertising. |
