This photograph was taken to accompany an article entitled "Builders of Hoover Dam Select Internationals" by L.E. Roberson, "International Trail" magazine, March 1932, pp.9-11. The caption on a similar photograph reads, "The Internationals with their loads climb the steep grades of a one-way road with their loads of rock which is being used for widening the road. On the return trip the drivers skillfully back the trucks down into the canyon." |
