Acme Insecticides Letterhead

Letterhead of the Acme White Lead & Color Works of Detroit, Michigan, which as part of its business produced insecticides for farm and home garden application. Full-color images include the insecticides being applied by hand by a home gardener, by means of handheld sprayers and a wagon by orchard workers, and by a farmer driving a horse-drawn plow that sprays insecticides in its wake as it moves down rows of crops. Also along the side of the page is a cornucopia of fresh fruits and vegetables, with a sidebar of product listings and an image of a store display of rose spray. |
