Porch Steps with Tree Stump

A white oak tree stump sticks out of the second, third, and fourth steps of the front porch at 320 West Doty Street. The house, owned by Kenneth and Jean Danielson, was built in 1902 and the porch steps were built around the growing tree. The upper part of the tree was sawed off in 1950 because of rotting wood. |
