Rolleiflex Camera

"The vast majority of these pictures were taken with the above camera. This twin-lens Automatic Rolleiflex was purchased in 1947. At that time this camera was very popular with "Life" magazine photographers, press photographers, and serious amateurs. The camera was manufactured in Germany & had a Zeiss Tessar f:3.5 lens. The top lens projected an image on a groundglass and viewed from above. The bottom lens was the taking lens. It took 12 2 1/4 x 2 1/4 pictures on a 120 roll." |
