Newhall House Letterhead
Letterhead of Newhall House in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, with a three-quarter view of the hotel, including people strolling on the grounds and near the entrance, riding in a horse-drawn carriage, and standing on the second floor balcony. Boyington & Mix are credited as the building's architects. Newhall House was built in 1856-1857, and was destroyed by fire in January 1883. The original cupola seen in this image was removed in the early 1870s. Text is enhanced with printer's flourishes. Printed by Bald, Cousland & Company, of Philadelphia and New York. |
