Wisconsin Diagnostic Center
Dedication of the Wisconsin Diagnostic Center for the intensive study of mentally and emotionally disturbed young people, referred to it by the state Dept. of Public Welfare. The building was located at 1552 University Avenue. It is under the supervision of the Mental Hygiene Division of the State Department of Public Welfare and connected with the University of Wisconsin medical school as a training ground for medical students and future psychiatrists. The three men are probably Dr. Franklin Ebaugh, University of Colorado psychiatrist; Dr. Hans Reese, University of Wisconsin professor of Neuropsychiatry, and Dr. Leslie Osborn, director of the center and of the Wisconsin Welfare Department's Division of Mental Hygiene. |
