The original handwritten caption reads, "Model D-15 Salesman's Trucks. See September 1938 International Trail. Taken by Madison, Wis. Branch." The caption in "International Trail" magazine reads, "(Below) Dealers see the products themselves rather than printed reproductions of them when the salesman calls. As a result, dealers are able to make careful selection of all items in the line in which they are interested without being interrupted. Selection on this basis results in fewer adjustments because goods are satisfactory upon arrival." |
