A sign on the roof of a car that says, "Grapes = Poverty" supporting the United Farmworkers (UFW)/AFL-CIO grape boycott. The car is parked on a street in front of the Milwaukee County War Memorial. The nationwide UFW/AFL-CIO grape boycott movement to improve conditions for migrant farm workers was started in California by activist Cesar Chavez. Inspired, the Wisconsin farm-worker labor union, Obreros Unidos (United Workers) organized boycott action in every major Wisconsin city.Un carro con un letrero del boicot de uvasUn letrero en el techo de un carro que dice "Uvas = Pobreza" ("Grapes = Poverty") para apoyar el boicot de uvas de United Farmworkers (UFW)/AFL-CIO.
