Waist-up studio portrait of Knud J. Sine, a captain in Company H, 15th Wisconsin Infantry. The following information was obtained from the Regimental and Descriptive Rolls, Volume 20: He resided in Cambridge, Wisconsin. On January 17, 1862, he was commissioned as a Captain and mustered into service on February 13, 1861, in Madison, Wisconsin at the age of 27. He resigned his commission on May 4, 1862 at Island No. 10, Tennessee. |
