ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
The typewritten note on the back of the photograph reads, "If you will refer to Prints No. I-1324 and I-496 you will notice that the gearing is about the same but that the clutches are different. 1496 is an earlier model of the single speed - gear reverse while I-1324 is a later type. This is a 20HP motor and the two speed 20HP tractors were not built until 1910 or 1911. The first two speed tractors were the 12HP size and the first one shipped the fore part of 1910. A.B. Whitney. 8-4-33." Photo is part of a collection of "data files" collected by International Harvester engineers in the 1910s and 1920s. See Image ID: 90974 for alternate view.
