Map Showing Cornell University Lands in Wisconsin for Sale
Map
This map shows the lands in northern Wisconsin owned by Cornell University that were for sale in 1877. It also shows rivers, railroads, waterfalls, and the Lac Courte Oreilles, Bad River, and Lac du Flambeau Indian reservations. Text on the map states, "Those desiring information in regard to these lands with a view of purchasing any portion thereof will apply to the treasure of Cornell University, Ithaca, N.Y. or to the University Land Agency at Eau Claire, Wis."
