Loading Corn into Silo
The barn in the foreground, left, is the school barn for the Hillside Home School (which was run by Frank Lloyd Wright's aunts & Enos Lloyd Jones sisters, Jennie & Nell Lloyd Jones). The windmill tower in the background, right, is Frank Lloyd Wright's 1896 design, the Romeo & Juliet Windmill Tower. Several farm workers load corn from a wagon into a silo, which is in front of a barn. Behind the wagon is belt-driven machinery, which is powering the loader to lift the corn into the silo. |
