Head and shoulders vignetted cabinet card portrait of Ole T. Westby, a private in Company H, 15th Wisconsin Infantry. The following information was obtained from the Regimental and Descriptive Rolls, Volume 20: He resided in Bad Axe, Wisconsin. On December 24, 1861, he enlisted in La Crosse, Wisconsin and on February 13, 1862, he was mustered into service in Madison, Wisconsin at the age of 22. He was wounded slightly in the arm on September 4, 1864, at Lovejoy Station, Georgia. He mustered out with his company on February 13, 1865, at Chattanooga, Tennessee. |
