Bridal Gowns
Wedding gowns representing the fashions of 73 years were presented in a bridal show sponsored by the Madison chapter of the Alumnae Association of Edgewood College. Mary Conlin, left, wears a "flapper" era short gown of ivory satin and net which was originally worn by Inez Valliant for her marriage on Dec. 28, 1927. Geraldine Nestingen, center, models her own waltz-length gown of pleated white net and lace which she wore for her marriage on June 28, 1952. Jane Bowar, right, wears the golden brown satin dress which Minnie Hess chose for her marriage on June 10, 1884. |
