Maps of the Menominee Clans Project

A series of three maps showing the lands of the Menominee, the first of these three maps shows the present-day Menominee Indian Reservation. Highways and roads, lakes and streams, and communities are depicted. The second map shows the various land cessions made by the Menominee Indians in Wisconsin, with the historic locations of various reservations depicted. The third map is a Menominee-language map of the ceded areas giving the Menominee names of lakes and rivers in the area. Settlements, trails and portages are also shown. |
