This manuscript map of Taylor County, Wisconsin, shows the township and range grid, lakes and streams, "Chippewa trails, Indian trails" Indian villages and encampments, pine logging dams as of 1866, pine logging camps, and first homestead patent in the county. A portion of southern Price County showing the Jump River is included. This map was drawn to accompany an article by Ray Bundick: "The disappearance of Father Menard." |
