Walworth County Girl Wins State Spelling Bee
Carol Fellows, a 14-year-old girl from Genoa City, is shown at the moment she was declared Badger State Spelling Bee champion. She outspelled 62 other city and county champions. Congratulating her is J.W. (Bill) Clark, master pronouncer, who had to pronounce 3 1/2 hours until a champion was named. |
