Puss'n Boots Bronze Award
Charles B. Seals, and his father Bellamy, have received a citation from the Puss'n Boots bronze award committee. The citation resulted from pictures of their Siamese cat, Thai, ringing a doorbell at their home at 1213 Wingra Drive. The pictures, taken by Edwin Stein and printed in an April 27, 1958 "We Saw You" feature in the Wisconsin State Journal, show how Thai can summon one of her owners to the door by pressing a low-level bell made by Charles. The owners' award was presented on behalf of Thai, who was assisted in the ceremony by Edwin Stein, State Journal photographer, who took the pictures for the feature. Shown admiring the citation, are, left to right, Thai, Ed Stein, Bellamy Seals, and seated, Charles Seals. |
