| Original caption states: "Everyone benefits. Jans Jackson, Spring Green, champion subscription salesman, of the Wisconsin State Journal's carrier boys, is shown with his family. They are from the left: Harold Jackson, his father, Jans, his brother Craig; and his mother." As his prize, he and his family won a weeks vacation at the Silver Arrow resort near Woodruff on Lake Gilmore with a cottage and free meals. Jans won by selling 49 subscriptions. "Craig also was a State Journal carrier, but he left the subscription selling up to his brother." |
