One of the three original residential neighborhoods of Cedarburg, this district of 128 residences and one church, located just north of Cedar Creek, contains the largest concentration of limestone houses in the community. Representative of small-town neighborhoods, the district combines simple, vernacular structures built for working class families with a significant number of elite houses in major architectural styles built between 1844 and 1938.
