This district contains 69 historic structures built between 1850 and 1939, including almost all the historic commercial buildings of downtown Ripon. This cohesive group of buildings has few modern intrusions and contains a substantial concentration of Italianate style buildings which include elaborate brickwork and brick construction. The area is still the center of the business community in Ripon today. |
