Known locally as Brasstown Cottages, these four houses are a concentrated example of the more than 130 workers cottages that were constructed during the industrialization of Beloit. Built in 1891 and uniform and simple in design, these one-story, side-gabled vernacular dwellings were built with clapboard siding on limestone foundation. |
