| These six houses on a small stretch of Grove Street clearly depict the appearance of Barnevald before a tornado in 1984 virtually destroyed the community. Constructed between 1900 and 1925, the unpretentious vernacular form homes were built by two local carpenters. Decorative embellishments include scrollwork, fancy shingling and bay windows. |
