The Modern Woodmen of America Lodge constructed in 1913 for the Elcho Modern Woodmen of America and used by the Elcho Grange No. 671 from 1932-1966. The building represents the important role that the Modern Woodsmen, a fraternal benefit society, and the Grange, a social organization, played in the social history of Elcho and the surrounding area. Both organizations held their meetings there and it provided a space that was used as a community center for various recreational activities that served the larger public.

Today, the Modern Woodmen of America Lodge continues to serve the area and is owned by the Elcho Historical Society.
