Additional Information: | 2024: Contributing to the proposed Racine Street Historic District. This one-and-one-half-story, Bungalow-style house was constructed c.1920. It has a square footprint, brick walls on the lower story, stucco cladding on the upper story, and a side-gabled roof sheathed in asphalt shingles. The roof has overhanging eaves with boxed ends and a central roof dormer on the primary north façade. The dormer contains four, eight-over-one, double-hung replacement windows. There is a rectangular chimney along the east (side) elevation that pierces the roofline just behind the dormer. The north façade is symmetrically arranged into three window bays, each featuring quadripartite wood windows with transoms. Additional fenestration primarily includes original, twelve-over-one, double-hung, wood windows with simple wood surrounds. The house’s primary entrance is centrally located on the west (side) elevation. It features a wood door and sidelights and is topped by a cross-gabled roof supported by brackets. |
