| Additional Information: | A 'site file' exists for this property. It contains additional information such as correspondence, newspaper clippings, or historical information. It is a public record and may be viewed in person at the Wisconsin Historical Society, State Historic Preservation Office. Resurveyed 2016 by UWM-CRM as part of Milwaukee Bublr bikeshare project. 2016- "The North Point Pumping Station is a Contemporary water utility constructed in 1963. The building is rectangular in plan and is clad in panelized brick and opaque spandrel glass. The building has a flat roof. The pumping station is listed as a non-contributing element of the Milwaukee-designated North Point North Historic District. However, as noted previously, the boundaries of the NRHP-listed North Point North Historic District are smaller than those of the city landmark district; and the pumping station is not part of the NRHP-listed district. The North Point Pumping Station is within the APE for proposed station site #14- Bradford Beach." -"Mult. Locations, Milwaukee, 7.5 series", WisDOT #2190-06-01, Prepared by Kelly Noack and Justin Miller, UWM-CRM (2016). |
