Additional Information: | "Delta Tau Delta was established in 1881 as a temperance fraternity; and in 1892 they and Chi Psi were the first fraternities to build houses expressly for a fraternity chapter. In 1911, this unusual stone house was built for them, on or near the site of their 1892 house. The stone house is an unusual interpretation of the colonial revival style. It features a mansard roof, a row of projecting dormers, and classical details. The fraternity occupied this house until the 1950s."
