Additional Information:YOUNG WAS A PROFESSOR AT THE UNIVERSITY OF WISCONSIN AND HE WAS AFTERWARDS THE CHANCELLOR OF THE UNIVERSITY IN THE LATER 1960s. HIS HOUSE WAS DESIGNED BY HERB FRITZ, ARCHITECT, AND WAS BUILT BY MARSHALL ERDMAN, GENERAL CONTRACTOR. IN 1957 THE ORIGINAL CARPORT WAS CONVERTED INTO A BEDROOM AND THE CURRENT FREE-STANDING GARAGE WAS BUILT TO REPLACE IT.
