Additional Information: | 2024: This is a boat service facility that consists of two warehouses (103119; 103120) and associated boat yard space, enclosed with a chain-link fence, along the bank of the Milwaukee River. The north building (103120) on the property is an a-stylistic utilitarian warehouse constructed in 1967 along the south bank of the Kinnickinnic River. It is a gabled pole building that is roughly rectangular plan with a narrower gabled addition and a shed roof addition adjoined to the south gable end. The gable ends are perpendicular to S. Water Street. The exterior walls are clad in ribbed metal with a gabled roof also clad in ribbed metal. At the southwest corner of the building, the shed roof addition features two tall rows of fixed aluminum sash plate glass display windows in the west and south elevations. A vehicular entrance has been added in the street facing (west) elevation. |
