Additional Information: | 2021 This two story High Victorian Italianate style commercial building was constructed in 1899. The storefront has been significantly altered and contains a post-WWII aluminum framed 3-sided storefront window and a curved glass block wall. The original transoms have been covered with board or T-111 cladding. A painted metal cornice caps the first story. The second story contains a 3-sided oriel with modern double hung and fixed light windows. A single double hung window is located in the right side of the second story. This window and the base of the oriel have scalloped shingle cladding. The second story is capped by a shaped parapet containing a classical cornice with dentils. The central portion of the parapet is capped with a similar cornice and extends past the main cornice and contains a small double hung window with painted Queen Anne style upper sash. |
