Additional Information: | Resurveyed in 2021 by UWM-CRM. The two story Queen Anne style F. Lederer Block was built in 1885. The building is clad in cream brick. The storefront retains its original configuration and central pier with bracket, although the storefront openings and transoms are covered with T-111 siding. The storefront windows and entry doors are modern replacements. The storefront retains its original painted metal cornice. The upper story contains three replacement double hung windows. The original window opening sizes and locations are visible due to the red brick infill above and around the current replacement windows. The facade is capped with a false front parapet with decorative brickwork panels, brackets, and a wide wood frieze with scroll cut decoration. A false front gable rises above the parapet and retains its original dentil cornice and sunburst pattern cladding. |
