| Additional Information: | 2021 This Contemporary style automotive garage was built in 1948. The building is asymmetrically composed of overlapping flat-roofed horizontal and vertical geometric volumes. A tall, vertical element is located near the center of the elevation and holds a projecting vertical sign reading "USED AUTO PARTS REPAIR." A vehicular entry bay is located near the center of the elevation, and the pedestrian entry door is located under a recessed awning supported on a row of three thin steel columns. The eastern (right) bay originally contained a large square steel multi-light window; the bottom portion of this opening has been covered over with T-111 but the upper row of lights remains. The remainder of the elevation is clad in vertical metal cladding. |
