The address of the property in 1925 was 246 Prospect Ave.

The Milwaukee Daily Reporter, 19 November 1924, cites that the architect of 246 Prospect Avenue was R.B. Williamson & Co.

Constructed in 1924-1925 as a 48-unit apartment building for the approximate cost of $175,000. Its original building permit lists the Milwaukee real estate firm West Side Realty Company as owner. The management of West Side Realty consisted of H.A. Richards, president; A.L. Richards, vice-president; and J.H. Lange, secretary-treasurer. Robert L. Reisinger Company was the general contractor. In 1954, a one-story addition featuring two, 6-room/2 bath apartments was constructed on the rear elevation. George F. Spinti was the architect of this addition and Klug & Smith was the contractor.

Resurveyed as part of Milwaukee Downtown Connector Arch/History Survey (2010), Prepared by Heritage Research.

Resurveyed 2016 by UWM-CRM as part of Milwaukee Bublr bikeshare project.

2016- "This Mediterranean Revival-style Prospect Terrace Apartments were constructed in 1924 after designs by Russell Barr
Williamson. The 3-story brick building is symmetrical and is comprised of two wings surrounding a central courtyard. The
building features red tile hipped roofs and 1-story arcaded walkways at the east and west ends of the courtyard. Windows
appear to be original and are surrounded by stone quoins. Third story windows of the front facade feature wrought iron
balconets underneath.

The Prospect Terrace Apartments are within the APE for proposed station site #20- Prospect/Brady."
