Additional Information: | Now set on two acres, this house once surveyed a 140-acre farm owned by "Jones and Breese". In the early days this handsome brick Italianate dwelling was crowned by a cupola. The most interesting feature in its design is the eastern ell-wing, which is recessed and surrounded by porches. This was accomplished by squaring off the hipped roof and its bracketed cornice, thus creating a two-story, two-sided veranda. Much of the old farm was turned into a country club.
