NOTES
Additional Information:2010: This is a three-story, brick, Spanish Colonial Revival-style commercial block with upper-floor apartments. The building's defining element is its parapet which consists of alternating shaped parapets and stretches of barrel tile roofing. The storefront level along N. Farwell Avenue is defined by a plain, limestone cornice. The six storefronts are heavily modernized. The upper-story windows generally consist of replacement one-over-one, double-hung sashes.

Designed by Lindl & Schutte, the subject building was constructed in 1927 for developer Sol Ettenheim & Sons at an estimated cost of $55,000.00. The building contains six storefronts and ten apartments. From the 1930s to the early 1960s, the building contained a variety of businesses to include a pharmacy, photo studio, grocery store and beauty shop.

Resurveyed as part of Milwaukee Downtown Connector Arch/History Survey (2010), Prepared by Heritage Research.
