NOTES
Additional Information:2024: This is a two-story corner-story-and-flat building type constructed circa 1890 at the northwest corner of S. Kinnickinnic Avenue and E. Maple Street. It is a wood-frame irregular plan building consisting of a two-story corner saloon volume, a one-story storefront volume, and a rear two-story flat or residence volume. The principal elevation faces east toward S. Kinnickinnic Avenue and was re-clad in the 1920s or 1930s with brick veneer and altered with a gabled false front. The secondary elevation facing E. Maple Street has been re-clad with vinyl siding. The windows throughout have been replaced with one-over-one hung vinyl sash windows in the residential spaces and single light fixed sash windows in the commercial space. The commercial entrances in the southeast facing corner and in the east elevation are accentuated by round arch, quarried stone door surround. The first and second stories of the same brick veneered elevations are finished with pent cornices supported on vinyl clad modillions. The south elevation contains three entrances into the residential spaces each accessed by concrete stoops. The styled cornice along the rear two-story volume has been covered with metal or vinyl. --- Note false front gable, shallow eave roof on brackets and imitation stone door surrounds.
